- B:- We spent most of our time in the capital, Beijing.
- A:- I've heard they have a lot of problems with air pollution in Beijing.
- B:- Actually, the air wasn't so bad. The authorities have banned driving in the
centre of the capital. They're gearing up for the Olympic Games.

A is talking to B about her up coming trip to Hawaii.
- A:- I'm going to spend all of my time relaxing by the pool, and reading.
- B:- Sounds great. Have you bought a new swimsuit?
- A:- Yes, but, I'll have to gear up before I can wear it.
- B. You mean, go on a diet?
- A:- Exactly!
